Scheduling Lessons
All lessons are scheduled online. Click “Book A Lesson” to schedule a lesson.
For returning students, you can sign in to schedule new lessons or manage your upcoming lessons.
Lessons may be scheduled individually, or you may purchase a monthly lesson subscription which offers a substantial discount on the individual lesson price.
My scheduling page is constantly updated with all of my available lesson times. If a time is not listed there, it is unavailable for a lesson.
Lesson Subscriptions
Lesson subscriptions are offered for recurring lessons at a discounted rate to ensure consistent lesson attendance throughout the year. Each subscription contains a specific number of pre-paid lessons for a calendar month. Lesson subscriptions renew automatically on the 1st of each month.
Students may take lessons at the same time each week (and have priority for rescheduling lesson times) or can schedule their lessons at different times each week to best accommodate their schedule.
Lessons not used in a calendar month due to excused absences (illness, short vacations) or extreme circumstances (family emergency, etc.) may be pro-rated to the next month up to 6 months from the original date of purchase.
Lesson Subscriptions may not be paused due to vacations or extended absences. Unused lessons due to extended absences may be used as make-up lessons during months with more than 4 weeks, or the student may schedule extra lessons in an upcoming month.
Unused lessons, subscriptions, and gift certificates expire after 6 months from the original date of purchase. There are no refunds for unused lessons after this period.
Rescheduling an Individual Lesson
The student may reschedule or move their lessons to any available time up to 24 hours before their scheduled lesson time using the online scheduler or by signing in to their account.
That student may forfeit any lesson canceled within 24 hours except for emergencies. If this occurs, please contact me, and I will make every attempt to find an available time to reschedule that lesson. Please note that I can not always guarantee that I will have another available time to reschedule the lesson, and I am not obligated to do so for lessons canceled within 24 hours.
A “No-show” lesson (missed lesson without advanced notice) will not be rescheduled under any circumstances. Please contact me to avoid this!
If I need to cancel a lesson, that lesson will be rescheduled for a later date.
Illness/Medical Issues
Please do not come to your lessons if you are not feeling well. Please contact me to reschedule your lesson as soon as possible. Online lessons may be substituted for in-person lessons if you are not feeling well or are recovering from an illness.
Subscription Renewal and Cancellation
A renewal notice will be sent to students 7 days before each subscription renewal. If the student wishes to cancel their subscription, they must cancel before the first day of each calendar month, or they will be charged for their subscription.
Students are solely responsible for canceling their own subscriptions prior to the 1st of the month. No refunds for unused lessons will be given if the student wishes to cancel their subscription after the 1st of each month.
Students may cancel their subscriptions by signing in to their account.
Lesson Confirmation Emails
You will receive a confirmation email when you book your lesson and an hour before your scheduled lesson time. If you do not receive an email, your lesson is not confirmed with me. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding your lesson times.
Studio Holidays
Lessons will not be scheduled on the following holidays: Labor Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving Holiday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Throughout the year, there may be times when I need to go out of town. Any lessons missed during those times will be rescheduled for a mutually convenient time.
